Red Kazakh brick is the oldest traditional brick in Iran. The history of red Cossack bricks dates back to the Sassanid period, when Cossack bricks were used in Kasra Arch, Pol-e Dokhtar, Gonbad-e Kavous, Isfahan Grand Mosque, and so on. At the time of the arrival of the Cossacks in Iran, the Cossacks built their barracks with a kind of brick with dimensions of 5 * 10 * 20 and later these bricks became known as Cossack bricks. Kazakh brick is used today as the most popular brick in interior designs and exterior facades.

Method of production of

First, we grind refractory or clay soil and then turn it into mud, and then it is traditionally placed in a mold, and after drying, red Kazakh (rastik) bricks are placed in a kiln, depending on the type of soil (refractory or clay) and the degree. For soil, it is baked from 900 degrees (clay) to 1200 degrees (refractory soil). Depending on the soil, the color of Kazakh bricks is divided into two categories: clay Kazakh bricks (including peach Kazakh bricks, onion shell and yellow) and Kazakh refractory bricks (including English red rustic refractory bricks, chamotte rustic refractory bricks, white rustic refractory bricks, rustic refractory bricks Black, red Kazakh brick) is divided.
